I've been working exclusively on a lot of web and admin applications recently. So, I created this app exploration concept to practise my mobile design and visual design skills.

About the App

Social is another simple, lightweight social media platform that connects users and empowers them to share their photos, videos, thoughts, and opinions.

Application Scope

Users should be able to:

• Upload images, videos and text as a post into their feed.
• View posts from their friends in their personalised feed.
• Upload images, videos, text as a story in their profile that disappears after a specified time.
• Have conversations with other users via messages and share text, videos, audios, images, gifs, links, etc.
• Get periodic notifications of the activity in their profile.
• Be able to search for people, posts and content.
• Like, comment, share and bookmark posts and media content.

Final Thoughts

This app exploration was designed over a weekend. I had a lot of fun working on it. There was no research involved. After a couple of sketches, I directly jumped into Figma and started designing the same.
